Care Guide

Tank Setup

Goldfish need a spacious tank (at least 20 gallons for one fish) with good filtration, as they produce a lot of waste. Avoid small bowls.

Water Quality

Keep water clean with regular changes (20–30% weekly). Maintain temperature between 18–24°C and pH around 7.0–7.5.

Feeding

Feed a balanced diet of quality flakes/pellets, along with vegetables (peas, spinach) and occasional protein (brine shrimp, bloodworms). Feed small amounts 2–3 times daily.

Companionship

They are social and can live with other goldfish, but avoid overcrowding.

Health & Maintenance

Watch for signs of stress, fin rot, or swim bladder issues. Provide proper filtration, avoid overfeeding, and ensure oxygen-rich water.
